Our most recent Pop Culture Trading Card Auction was a remarkable success, attracting collectors from across the UK and Europe and achieving nearly a white glove result, with 95% of all entries selling within or above estimate!
Featuring a fantastic array of vintage singles, complete sets, and sealed products from some of the biggest names in the trading card world, the sale included three outstanding one-owner collections and generated over £50,000 in total hammer prices.
Auction Highlights
Among the standout lots were:
Magic: The Gathering - Power 9 & Black Lotus
A heavily played Black Lotus (Unlimited) proved to be the star of the show, reaching over £6,000. The remaining eight Power 9 cards, also in similar played condition, collectively achieved over £14,000, drawing fierce bidding from seasoned MTG collectors.
Pokémon Vintage Graded Cards
A stunning PSA 8 Base Set Charizard sold for £650+, while a rare Gyarados H10 from Skyridge, graded PG 9, exceeded expectations, realising over £700. Vintage greats such as Blastoise and Venusaur also performed strongly.
Disney Lorcana, One Piece & More
Popular modern franchises such as Disney Lorcana and Bandai's One Piece Card Game saw enthusiastic interest, alongside sealed product, complete sets, and nostalgic titles like Decipher’s Star Trek and vintage Topps packs.
