Online Auctions

Timed online auctions are very similar to well-known online bidding platforms, but we host the sale, and you deal directly with us. We do this via our auctioneer platform partner, Easy Live Auction.

Participants place bids electronically on the online platform, where a countdown timer is present to indicate the time remaining. As the time ticks down, there is more pressure to place higher bids in time. When the auction concludes, the highest bidder at the end of the specific time limit wins the item.

This type of auction is solely online, meaning all participants can access the auction from anywhere. There is no live auctioneer or real-time bidding interaction among participants, but the process is transparent as all bidding activity and history is available to be viewed through the auction period.

Hybrid online auctions combine elements of both traditional live auctions and online auctions, offering participants the flexibility of bidding remotely while still incorporating aspects of a live auction environment. During this type of auction, an auctioneer conducts the bidding process in real time via an online stream with audio. Remote participants place their bids online, which are seamlessly integrated into the live bidding process.

Hybrid online auctions are considered more “interactive” than timed online auctions since there is a real-time engagement between the auctioneer, in-person attendees and online participants. Bids placed online are immediately visible to those who are physically present and those who are online.

Our hybrid online auctions are only available bimonthly/quarterly, for specialist auction items only.
