We have recently sold at auction a group of two medals from WW2 Major Ronald Boyd Including a Military Cross and General Service medal Palestine including paperwork estimated £800-£1200, and sold for £3250 including premium. We recently unearthed an unassuming WW1 sleeping bag owned by Colonel Sir George McCrae 16th The Royal Scots on behalf of an estate collection which was destined to be lost forever but our onsite valuers saw the significance with an initial estimate of £50-£80 it sold for £570.00 including premium and is now part of the McCrae’s Battalion Trust.
